From Elendor

Elendor includes most of the species (races) which Tolkien mentions in his writings. Your choice of species helps to determine your place in Elendor, and also leads to decisions of whether you wish your character to lead a life of virtue or evil in the game.

The following species are available to new players: Dwarf, Elf, Hobbit, Human, Orc

Many other species are available to more experienced players, however. A full list is provided below.
